Apps

  • Omnifocus

    Task manager by the Omni-Group.

  • Overcast

Smart Speed. Vocal Boost. Playlists. Simply the best podcast player. Worth paying to remove the ads, but still totally functional if you don’t.

  • iA Writer

No font selection, margin sizes or other formatting choices to distract, when getting words down is what matters.

  • YNAB

Decide what your money needs to do, then make sure it does it.

  • Fantastical

Gold standard for managing your calendar. Made by Flexbits

  • 1Password

Just use a password manager and don’t do this:

    P4ssw0rd!

    t^cW8fA;3db

    ilovecats1!

  • Todoist

A lightweight task manager (lighter than Omnifocus, at least). I used to use the free version at work, as it syncs everywhere. Recently the number of projects were limited to only five for the free version, in addition to additional limitations (no tags, no viewing completed tasks).
