This series of videos from The Slanted Lens contain a lot of wisdom on lighting. It helped me understand what to be looking for in lighting, and how to manipulate light to get the look and style you want.

Four Minute Film School from Aputure

The 4 Minute Film School playlist holds lighting tutorials from the video lighting maker Aputure.

They work within the more Hollywood side of video making. They take professional filming scenarios and walk you through the setup and decision making process for each light. You also learn a lot of the film industry terminology.

Of course, it it a low key ad for Aputure, as it uses exclusively their lighting systems. But you can learn a lot of good stuff none-the-less.
